Basically there are three possible ways of billing:
- By the hour
Usually, I charge by the hour. When charging by the hour, all my services are covered. - According to the legal tariff
In court proceedings, I charge according to the legal tariff. In the tariff the remuneration of lawyers is (i.a.) specifically determined for various trials and hearings. The specific costs depend on the amount in dispute, and the length of the proceedings. - Flat-rate
Alternatively, a lump sum can be agreed upon. This is particularly suitable if the overall expense can be estimated well in advance. This may be the case, for example, with certain pleas or contracts.
I would be happy to discuss your case with you in a non-binding and free first meeting via Zoom [details in the contact form].
If you have legal insurance, I will be happy to clarify directly with your insurance company whether a particular case is covered. For this I will need to see your insurance policy.
